Suyeon Kim
Hi! I’m Warm Ssu, an illustrator and storyteller based in Kentucky, USA.
I was born and raised by the sea in Busan, South Korea, and studied English Literature before finding my way to visual storytelling.
For the past six years, I’ve been turning everyday moments into comics, illustrations, and stories.
My work is inspired by life between Korea and the U.S., cultural differences, relationships, and the little humor hidden in ordinary days.
Over the years, I’ve published webcomics on various creative platforms and collaborated with organizations, brands, and educational institutions.
I’ve also taught webcomics and storytelling in both Korea and the U.S., sharing my love of visual storytelling with others.
Through my work, I hope to create warm, humorous stories that connect with people and stay with them.
